Scientific Committee

Nina Skjæret Maroni works as an associate professor in physiotherapy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. She has extensive knowledge and competence within clinical practice and research with respect to physical activity and physical function in older adults as well as use of innovative technological solutions such as VR and other game technologies. In the last years she has focused her teaching on collaborative work and praxis in healthcare education as well as developing and integrating the use of VR-game technology in healthcare education. Nina has been leading and working on several collaborative projects with the healthcare sector in the municipality within both research and education focusing mainly on older adults living at home or in nursing homes. She has been part of several international projects and been devoted to increasing physical activity for older adults by implementing technological solutions in healthcare.
