Miguel Pérez Navarro obtained a BSc in physiotherapy from the University of Valencia in 2021. Miguel is currently living in Brussels where he is a freelance physiotherapist and is working at the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy as Communication & Operations Officer since September 2021. 

At the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy he coordinates the Europe Region working groups, attends and participates in events and conferences on behalf of the association and manages internal and external communications. 

Miguel has completed training in sports physiotherapy, and manual therapy and therapeutic exercise in cancer patients.

Miguel is one of the co-authors of two journal publications: 

• The Role of Physiotherapy in Cancer Care in the Europe Region: A Position Paper of the Cancer Working Group of Europe Region World Physiotherapy.

• Effects of high-intensity interval training with an eccentric hamstring exercise program in futsal players: A randomized controlled trial. 

He has also been a speaker at several international physiotherapy congresses:

• 5th International Congress of Physiotherapy of ICOFCV - Oncology | Valencia, Spain. 

• International Conference "Global Trends in Physiotherapy - Innovations and Practice-based Perspectives" of the Latvian Physiotherapy Association | Riga, Latvia.

• World Physiotherapy Congress - Poster presentation | Tokyo, Japan.
